Tom Fewing who has recently graduated from 3D Design and Craft BA(Hons) was chosen by the Crafts Council as a top maker for his collection of stoneware pots and plates to remember the life of his father. Tom creates a personal narrative using techniques including slip decoration, saggar firing and glazing with iron spangles and also embeds personal belongings and DNA which is burnt into the surface of his pots.
