Employability Week – Including Local Employability and Placements Fair

The Employability and Placements team are running an Employability Week for all students in the School.

Starting on Monday 14 February we will have 3 days of employability sessions including:-

• Presentations by industry experts
• How to excel at different stages of the recruitment process
• Subject specific guest speakers – what happens next
• How to sell yourself in a virtual world
• Your continuing Learning and Development, developing resiliance
• The post University Journey

On Thursday 17 February we will be holding a Local Placements Fair from 16:00 – 18:00 in Elm House Atrium where you kind find out about some of the placements available in the local area and network with potential recruiters.

Please see attached for joining code for online employability week sessions and contributers.  You will also find details of some of the confirmed companies coming to the in person Placements and Employability fair, who will have both placement and graduate opportunities.

We have arranged the sessions into different categories to help on whatever stage of employability you are at, but please free feel to pick’n’mix any the sessions you want to attend.

To help us organise the week, please email a list of the sessions you want to attend to placements.business@brighton.ac.uk.   This will be your registration for the session(s).
