The Brighton Digital Award – your idea could win £250

Do you or your students have an idea using technology that could improve the experience for students or staff studying/working at the University of Brighton? If so we’d like to hear from you.

The eLearning team are excited to launch the first Brighton Digital Award

The University of Brighton Digital Award is funded by Santander Universities and powered by Elevator, Jisc’s open innovation platform.

To enter, just make a short video describing your idea. The best four submissions will win £250 prize money. They will then be offered funding, up to £1000, to help them develop their ideas as well as accessing a package of business support and advice from experts.

To be in with a chance of winning this award, you don’t need to be a programmer or designer as you will receive help to design and develop a prototype product. All you need is a strong idea and the enthusiasm and commitment to see your concept through to reality. Take a look at our sample ideas to get inspired!

Open to all staff and students. Contact Katie Piatt with any questions.

Katie is the eLearning Services Manager at the University of Brighton.
