Final art CPD workshop

Our last University of Brighton Art Teachers Organisation (UBATO) workshop of the 2022/23 academic year took place over the weekend.

Art educators from both the primary and secondary sector joined photorealist artist Sarah Graham for a special end of year artist workshop.

The full-day workshop took place at the University’s Falmer campus with attendees creating their own artwork inspired by Sarah’s images.

Senior lecturer Julie Howard said: “I know the impact of Sarah’s workshop will go much further than simply the canvases that were created. “

UBATO membership for the 2023/24 academic year is now open. Membership includes:

• four full-day workshops each year including one with a renowned artist
• an art materials box worth over £100 – supplied by our partner Specialist Crafts
• regular newsletters to provide classroom inspiration
