Art and Design, D&T and Religious Studies PGCE open evening

Congratulations to our PGCE students who recently held an open evening to showcase work with fellow students, tutors, mentors and families.

The exhibition is an annual event, held as part of final assessments for students on our PGCE and School Direct routes for Art & Design, Religious Studies and Design and Technology.

As part of their course, students present and discuss their rationales and ethos for their subject in relation to their experience and practice on placement as well as for their future NQT year.

The exhibition was well attended and offered the perfect opportunity for students, mentors and staff to network and gain inspiration for future classroom teaching.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone the best of luck as they now enter into their first year as newly qualified teachers.
