Student Employee of the Year Awards

Well done to our PASS ambassadors and Assignment Support Team, who were nominated for a Student Employee of the Year Award (SEOTY) under the category ‘above and beyond’.

The Student Employee of the Year Awards (SEOTY) recognises and promotes the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who effectively combine part-time work with their study commitments, and their employers.

The two groups were nominated by Mel Gill, Student Engagement Coordinator, and Student Support and Guidance Tutor, for their great work in supporting their peers.

Mel attended the event on Wednesday 24 May along with students Nadia Lewis (Primary English Education BA(Hons) with QTS, Year 3), Grace Claydon and Louise Jackson (Education MA).

Although the groups didn’t win , everyone received a certificate to acknowledge their achievement and hard work.

Mel Said: “It was great to attend the Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) awards with three School of Education students. I nominated 12 of our students who made up the PASS ambassador team and the Assignment Support Team this year. They all did an amazing job and their certificates are so well deserved.”
