Soapbox Science visits Brighton this summer!

Soapbox Science visits Brighton seafront on Saturday 2nd June and the call for speakers is open now!

Soapbox Science is a grass-roots science outreach organisation that brings cutting edge research onto urban streets whilst also promoting the visibility of women in science. It places inspirational speakers on soapboxes and encourages them to start conversations with the public about their work.

Want to take part? The deadline for applications is Friday 23rd February.

We were thrilled to see Brighton PhD student Chantal Nobs (now Dr Nobs) step on to her soapbox at a London event and would love to see our researchers spreading the word about their work on the seafront this summer. Do let us know if your application is successful!
