The photos taken with subjects, Erin and Kate were for experimental purpose only and had no particular influence in terms of photographer style. The location had high pampas grass which made for a really great backdrop, providing light, beige tones – paired with the bright sunlight it gave opportunity to experiment with using the long leaves and the pampas grass as shadows on subject profiles. I really liked the look of the display of green leaves paired with the blue in the sky and the light cream of Erin’s blouse and hair that blended naturally with the pampas grass.In the images with Kate, the sunlight is directed on her face which makes for a contrasting profile of light on one side and dark shadow on the other. I liked how the images came out by the way the sunlight gave transparency to Kate’s eyes and accentuated the colour.
