I am a very spontaneous person…
Over a call with some freinds one day during lockdown, I discussed my evolving passion for digital drawing.
They were really interested and gave me a challenge…
Speed drawings!
This was a real challenge for me but it was enjoyable- it taught me alot about how I have to adapt very quickly to certain situations that may arise when working with others, and within my work as a solo artist too (mistake making, fast paced movement and live performance).
Here are the results…
What did I learn about myself?
- I am adaptable to situations that arise.
- I am committed to projects- I see them through to the end, even when they are for short amounts of time.
- I can be proud of the mistakes or the ‘not quite there’ results I achieve… the process is the fun part here.
- I like to do things at a very fast pace- inspired by ‘in the moment’ actions.
I think I’ll do more speed drawings in the future… as a quick way of noting down ideas.
