Publishing your Research Workshop

Led by Dr Livia Rezende (Senior Lecturer in Design History & Theory, University of New South Wales, Sydney)
Organised by the Centre for Design History and University of Brighton Design Archives

Thursday 23 October, 12-1pm, G4, Grand Parade Building, City Campus

Researchers from all disciplines are welcome to join Dr Livia Rezende for a practical and inspiring workshop on publishing your research. Livia is a series editor of the ‘Studies in Design and Material Culture’ series for Manchester University Press and an editor of the Journal of Design History’s Explorations section, established to support experimentation with new or alternative forms of scholarly communication, collaborative writing and/or interdisciplinarity. Drawing on her editorial experience, she will offer insights into publishing in monograph format and explore alternative, experimental and creative approaches to sharing your research.

PhD students and early career researchers are especially welcome, as are those working outside of Design History but interested in the mechanisms of publication.

Dr Rezende is Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Brighton Design Archives and the Centre for Design History.
