This week, the Design Archives launch a new digital resource to celebrate Helsinki’s designation as World Design Capital 2012. This resource was produced to showcase Finnish materials held in the archives of the Council of Industrial Design/Design Council, ICOGRADA and ICSID.

The resource also includes a new photography project by Sirpa Kutilainen exploring what Finnish design means to Brighton’s Finnish community. An exhibition of these images is held at the Northern Light (6 Little East Street, Brighton) 19 May – 15 June as part of Brighton Fringe 2012.
