I looked at the photographer Chad Pitman, I liked his style of portrait photography and how he would focus solely on capturing close up shots of interesting peoples features. He would display his photographs in a grid like structure which I hadn’t seen in a photographers work before. Placing the photographs like this added a sort of disfigurement to the persons face which made it very visually striking.
I love how he focuses on close-up shots, drawing attention to the intricate details of his subjects’ features. The grid-like structure you mentioned adds a unique twist, almost like it reinterprets the human face in an abstract, fragmented way. I would love to have more time for photography, but due to the huge workload, it is hard to manage everything properly. I read paperial reviews which helped a lot to make a right choice. It’s interesting how this technique plays with perception and creates a striking visual impact. His work really pushes the boundaries of traditional portrait photography and gives viewers something fresh to think about. Definitely a style that stands out.
