The Creative Research Methods Group would like to invite you to join us for another vibrant symposium on creative research methods on Tuesday 5th March 2024 13:00-14:30 GMT on Microsoft Teams. This session features creative evaluation specialist and creative health consultant, Jane Willis, speaking on:

Generating Creative Insight: A Creative Evaluation of the Creative Research Methods within the Sensing Spaces of Healthcare Study’

How do creative research methods impact the experience of research participants and the depth and quality of reflection and insight gained?

Jane Willis will share the findings of the evaluation of the creative research methods used within the ‘Sensing Spaces of Healthcare: Exploring Sensory Experiences within Hospital Spaces using Creative Research Methods’ study, part of the wider UKRI-funded research study ‘Sensing Spaces of Healthcare: Rethinking the NHS Hospital.’ Introducing the creative research and evaluation methods, she will summarise the impact of using creative tools with hospital staff and patients and share guidelines for designing creative research tools identified through the project. Participants will be invited to creatively reflect on their takeaways and insights, and to consider how they might apply these to their own practice. At the end, there will be time for questions and discussion.

The group is open to all who share our passion for creative methods and our desire to provide a supportive, stimulating space within which to explore these. No advance sign-up is required; just turn up on the day if you wish to join us.
