The University of Brighton will be hosting 50+ short films, Q&As, workshops and talks celebrating older women in front of and behind the camera next month.
Films include dramas, documentaries, animations and experimental works and events include a workshop on pitching a documentary to Whicker’s World Foundation.
Film and screen studies senior lecturer Louise Fitzgerald will be giving a lecturer on older women’s representation in the film Mamma Mia.
The event will run on 16 and 17 September, 11am – 8pm at the Sallis Benney Theatre and Room G4
