My Brighton upgrade: New look & improved mobile access

We’re excited to announce some important changes coming to My Brighton, the University of Brighton’s online student portal, next month.

The switchover to the new My Brighton will take place on Thursday, 16 May. Here’s what you need to know and, more importantly, what you need to do to get ready…

What’s changing?

  • My Brighton website (my.brighton.ac.uk): My Brighton is getting a fresh look. It’ll still have all the features you rely on but will be much easier to navigate.
  • My Brighton app: We’re saying goodbye to the current app on 16 May. Instead, you’ll need to download the Microsoft SharePoint app for the best mobile experience.
  • Your timetable: Still accessible online and via the new app, and – bonus! – it will automatically sync with Outlook Calendar from September onwards. We’ll share more info about this nearer the time.

Why the changes?

For the best mobile experience, download the Microsoft Sharepoint app for your phone or device:

We’re confident these changes will make your university experience even better. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Email us at studentcomms@brighton.ac.uk
