Get £1000 scholarship to fund your teaching innovation – deadline 15th November

The Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Brighton has opened another round of applications for £1000 scholarships for educators to develop an innovative teaching idea:

“The Centre for Learning and Teaching is pleased to offer internally funded learning and teaching scholarships to support a variety of research and experience informed projects. Scholarship projects focus on innovative developments and evaluations of processes and outcomes in learning and teaching, curriculum and the student experience, each needs to be underpinned and informed by learning and teaching research and professional experience.”

Teaching staff from BSMS have successfully received scholarships to fund time, external contribution, software, catering(!) for projects including:

  • Developing multimedia ‘integrated GP cases’ for Year 4 undergraduate students
  • Distance learning in postgraduate Public Health
  • Small web development for a quiz interface
