SARA FANELLI
At the tutorial, my tutors mentioned several artists to inspire me. I quite liked Sara Fanelli’s works.
I usually work on loose sheets of paper, and gather them later to make a book, which I find it quite handy, because I don’t have to think about how many pages I will need. However, I found that I don’t appreciate my works on the sheets that much, since they are just loose series of texts and images. My tutor suggested of using higher quality paper, so that my sketches and researches also can be another type of my works.
Looking at Sara’s sketchbook works, I feel like working on sketchbooks.

I always find it difficult to link collage to my drawings. I think that is the reason for why I don’t like collages. Her works can be good examples of using collage materials as a part of the drawings.
