STAMPING

To try a variety of materials, I tried to do the stamping. I found this simple stamping set, which was the Christmas gift from my friend.

It is really simple and easy to use this set: 1. Choose the letters according to the word that you have to stamp. 2. Put them at the end of the sticks. 3. Arrange the sticks to form a word. You should be careful, the first letter should be located at the right side, and the last letter should be located at the left side. It is like a mirror. 4. Damp the stamps with ink. 5. Stamp the letter on the paper.

It reminded me of the letter press. It was a lot easier and less time consuming than letter press, though. I quite liked the repeated words that I produced. If I keep stamping without damp the stamps with the ink, the letters appear as low transparency. It may create interesting marks if I layer them in low transparencies.
