PAINTING THE POTTERY

PAINTING THE POTTERY

I have made the pottery few weeks ago, and they were ready to be painted. I went to the Painting Pottery Cafe again.

Those potteries looked better than they were in my memory, but they shrieked a bit, so I am pretty sure I cannot use the cup as an actual cup.

Before staging the painting, I made the surface smooth with the sand paper, and then use the damped sponges to clean the dirts.

Then, they are ready to be painted!

I just painted the moon and the cat on each potteries, which are my favourite objects to observe, with purple-violet colours.

It was quite hard to control the paint brush. The most difficult one to paint was the simple straight line. I couldn’t even breath.

Drawing those circular lines were the most difficult part.

I put some footprints around them, since I wanted to paint a cat on the base of this pottery.

My favourite animals are cats. This image is the only one that has got the black outline.

For this pottery, I tried to make it look like a dreamy night sky scene. I put the new moon on the bottom inside of the pottery, and put the full moon on the base of the pottery. Also, I put the infographic kind of images around the side of the pottery, which I found that I painted  in a wrong order after finishing painting.

I enjoyed painting them more than making them. I can collect them 1 week later. I am really looking forward to collect them and use them in my kitchen.
