THE FIRST BOOK

I made this small book, ‘Welcome to the Lonely Planet’.

I just printed out the pages in order and then stick them with the double sided tape, which made it a bit not professional or well made.

I tried to change the page layout a bit, so that I can emphasis this page. I think it worked quite well.

I had a tutorial with my tutor, and she said it would be better to use thicker and nicer paper to improve the quality of the book, which I totally agree.

Also, she mentioned about the layout, there would be a better way to show this ‘loneliness’ visually. I really agree with this, since this book looks a bit more like the story board for an animation.

About the double-sided printing, she said she would try printing a lot to figure out how to print double-sided pages, and I think this will be my next challenge.

We both were quite happy with the idea of the book, so I was a bit more confident about this.
