THE SECOND BOOK

The second version of “Welcome to the Lonely Planet”.

This time, I used the bookbinding way called ‘French Binding’, which was a lot easier than printing double-sided pages, but still can make a book which works as the double-sided book.

I thought it would be better to keep the book quite small, because loneliness is something quite sensitive and emotional thing, and even can be personal. I hoped this book can be something tickling the deep deep parts of readers’ minds.

I used thicker paper for this book, which made the book a bit too thick, I quite liked it though. I think I really should try printing double-sided pages. Since I don’t want to go to the printing office and hand in my spreads to be printed, I mean, it would be really handy, but I still want to deal with this by myself, I will try print out more and find out how to make a proper book.
