The World Where Mermaids Live

She created an artificial world where mermaids are alive. In this world, the mermaid is regarded as less intellectual creature than human, so human can eat the mermaids.

In her drawings, the human-like mermaids are treated like fish in our real life. People freeze them to sell them abroad, cut off their throats to eat them raw (make sure they don’t scream), and throw out the useless parts. This images look very striking, and remind us how cruel the human beings are.

Although the mermaid is very fantasy-like figure, this images look very real, because she illustrated each scenes based on the real life.
