LITHOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

 

I had a lithography workshop. I didn’t know what lithography is, so I was quite curious.

The whole process reminded me of the monoprint that I have done last term, since it is also using several layers to build up the colours. However, lithography can produce more kinds of printings. It can be simple drawings or even detailed photograph. Also, it can be produced over and over again.

I think using the roller to reverse the reversed image is a really smart idea.

I really enjoy printmaking, but at the same time, when I am doing projects, I prefer just drawing or painting. I think I should think about how I can combine those two areas of my interest.
