SKANSEN

SKANSEN

Skansen is the first open-air museum and zoo in Sweden. It has got some traditional and historical buildings, of course there is a small zoo. I haven’t been to the zoo in London, so I can’t compare two of them, but the zoo in Skansen is a bit smaller than that in Everland in Korea. However, it seemed like kids were really enjoying that.

Most of the buildings were old farm houses in different areas in Sweden. I was a bit surprised that Sweden is a lot bigger than I thought. I still don’t know much about the other parts of the world!

There were also some little shops like the bakery, the shoe store, the pottery store, and the spice store, which tried the best to keep the old and traditional ways, and the tourists can also experience the processes.

The whole thing was located on the island full of museums, so it could be a really nice day-off, out of the busy city.
