JOURNEY PIECES

I thought journey is a collection of my life pieces. I found that if I zoom in and crop the images, I can create more abstract and interesting images. I collected those drawings, paintings and photos that I have created this week, then zoomed in and cropped them.

For the shape, I didn’t like the normal rectangular shape of zines. It doesn’t look like pieces. I needed something has got sharp edges, and I thought the triangle shape would be nice for it.

Those images are mostly in colour pink, but there are some images without pink. I am going to try printing them on coloured paper, so that it can be blended well with other images.

However, those pieces are not strong enough to represent ‘journey’, I think I should put more pages which can show my journey, my life. Also, I should think about printing and binding them, I don’t think just printing them double-sided will look great.
