BOOK COVER

I made the book cover inspired by Gaudi’s tile works. As I mentioned in my previous posts, Gaudi’s tile works looked like something made of pieces of dreams, I made the book cover with small colourful tile-like paintings.

I wanted to make this cover looks like something related with its inner pages, so I chose colour pallets from the paintings for inner pages, dream-like blurry pastel colours.

I tried to arrange them in a pattern: from lighter shades to darker shades. The lighter shades are for the sweet dreams and the darker shades are for nightmares. This book cover will be a representation of piles of dreams, including both sweet dreams and nightmares.

Since it was made in a kind of collage way, it also added some texture to the book cover, which I quite liked.
