LIGHTING TEST

I have done some lighting tests for the project.

I thought something transparent or very delicate would work well in the photographs. I have chosen a pair of earrings and a lace coaster as the object.

By trying different Light Sources, different Directions and different Qualities, I found it more interesting to capture the shadow than capture the object itself.

However, it was quite hard to set the light alone, since I had to hold my mobile phone on one hand and my camera on the other hand. There was no strong sun light, which made the natural light too subtle, so I could hardly see the shadow.

To make sharp and harsh shadow, artificial light source, close distance and hard light are required. Also, it would be better to try zooming in and cropping the images.
