LINO INDUCTION

MATERIALS : a pencil, a marker pen, a sheet of linoleum, a piece of tracing paper, a few sheets of clean paper, a linocutting handle with different types of blades, a roller and printing inks.

STEPS:

1.Draw your design on a piece tracing paper.

2.Flip the tracing paper and place it on the top of the linoleum sheet.

3.Trace the pencil line with the back of the pencil.

4.Draw the transferred line on the linoleum sheet with a marker pen.

5.Carve the linoleum sheet with linocutting tools.

6.Use the roller to paint the linoleum sheet with printing ink.

7.Place the linoleum sheet on the top of the lino printing press.

8.Cover it with the paper that you want to print on and place another piece of paper on the top.

9.Pull down the handle of the lino printing press and roller over the paper.

10.Turn over the paper and check your lino work.
