General Weather Update: 16 March, 6pm

 

The MET Office is advising of the possibility of snowfall this weekend (17-18 March). An amber level warning in place for south east England from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. 

The University’s Estate and Facilities Management (E&FM) department is monitoring the weather over the weekend. The department will take all reasonable steps to ensure that sites and academic buildings can be safely accessed by students, staff and visitors.

For anyone on campus during the weekend please ensure that you check the weather forecast before travelling. Useful information to help you prepare for the weather and plan your travel is provided on the University’s Weather Updates blog

If weather conditions worsen over the weekend and into next week, communications will be sent to University email addresses of all students and staff at approximately 6am on Monday morning (19 March).

Updates will also be posted to: studentcentral, staffcentral, the University website and social media channels.
