Throughout my research i found that ankle boots were more interesting then they seemed. My last idea was the least interesting, but with the most interesting concept. I found out that woman used to wear ankle boots to hide their ankles so to protect their modesty. I took these images not only because my model is wearing ankle boots but because i wanted to spread a little message- you could say. i dressed my model in shorts and fish net tights (so skin on the legs were slightly showing.) This was seen as ‘unacceptable’ in those times so i wanted to show that woman can wear anything, and not dress to the likes of men. I also wanted to show that the reason for wearing ankle boots are a lot different now.
