Final Photoshoot

Black and white photography is definitely my favourite, so of course I had to interpret it into my final third photoshoot. I didn’t have much of a direction this shoot was going in, but I went with what I had and i’m happy with the outcome. Simple styling and simple images often are the most effective.. in my opinion anyway.

Street Style Shots

I found a nice white wall to photograph some street style shots, and although these are my test shots I quite like the images.

I styled my model with a Burberry skirt and jumper in the first image.

Second image- Oversized Chloe T-shirt and Guess and ASAP rocky collaboration dungarees.

Third Image- Uniqlo Jumper and comme des Garcon trainers.

Fourth Image- Topshop trousers and Supreme jean jacket.

Double Exposure(?)

I was searching for some disposable camera photography inspiration, and came across these double exposure shots and thought they were really cool so i tried my own out… slightly cheating. But I just layered my images on top of each other then slightly put the transparency up just on one of the images. And it made this cool double exposure looking effect!

Sebastian Kim

paicture1 picsture1 pictqure1 picturse1 pictuxre1 I’ve looked at Sebastian Kim for street style inspiration, I really really like his photographs. Some of Sebastian Kim’s photos have that disposable camera affect which is why I played around with one. The location, outfits and models are all perfect, which is what makes Sebastian Kim’s work so likeable.

Disposables

I took some images of street style around Brighton and London, but unfortunately when I went to develop my photos the negatives came out blank in all of the street style photos except these. And the flash didn’t work on the camera so the rest came out dark. But they’ve been stuck in my sketchbook for inspiration and development.

It was hard to take good street photos as there were a lot of people around so we couldn’t take the coat off. But in the end i really like the coat with the outfit and I styled it off the shoulder so you can also see underneath. I took most these images with a canon camera, but as you can see it washed the colour out from the houses. So i took some on my iPhone 6 and I LOVE the background colour, it just makes the photo.

Inspiration

Finding inspiration for a shoot is my favourite thing to do, when I actually take my own pictures I do have these images in mind although mine always come out a lot different. The outfits and location wise are usually similar and by location I mean this shoot was partly photographed on the streets off Kings road.

Paint on the body photography

These are my own images that I have taken for my project. Experimenting with the paint was definitely so interesting, just makes the whole photo look so much more creative. I took my images in black and white because I felt it fit the theme, and I initially wanted to use white paint but settled for black. I’m pretty happy with the outcome, more images are presented in my sketchbook.

When I saw these photos I straight away knew I had to photograph my own. I really love the simplicity of the makeup, hair and background then with the paint making it more creative and interesting. I also like how you can really make these type of pictures your own and not have to worry about making the paint perfect.
