More vintage living room shooting. I really liked the idea so I experimented more. Shot on film camera and styled by me too.
I used Katie Grand as my style inspiration as she is my all time favourite. Katie Grand is the founding editor in chief of Love. She is also a collaborator of March Jacobs, who she has worked with for a few years. Katie Grand has worked with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Giles, Jimmy Choo , Jonathan Saunders and many more. She styles very loud clothing againt more mellow backgrounds, it’s like an old school setting with new style fabrics. The styling and colours are very 60’s vibes and the photographs I chose of Katie Grands styling reminded me of my styling. The red coat in the park is similar to my styling in the photoshoot of the model wearing a red dress in the common, and the headscarfs with the hat. Grand either goes very simple with her styling or full on over the top and I like the contrast.
This is one of my shoots that again I decided to shoot in nature in a garden. I’ve incorporated cowboy boots with inspiration from my research, I also think it goes with the nature vibe. I’ve put a chair in the photographs to make it slightly more unusual and exciting. Although this was a quick photoshoot, I am happy with the way it turned out. Throughout my research of looking at different magazines, such as Wonderland Magazine, I’ve noticed they chose to shoot in nature a lot, and I also came across a photo of the models sitting on a chair in the garden which brought me to this photoshoot idea. I like the warm tones to this photoshoot, and because the sun was shining the natural lighting made these photographs come out a lot nicer.
I went to Wales for easter, and we were surrounded by fields on fields on fields. I couldn’t turn down an opportunity to photoshoot in these beautiful fields and barns with the horses. I really like this shoot, I usually shoot just one model but this time I decided on two and I really like it because they bounce off each other. I’m happy with how the styling turned out, and I think it really goes well with the location. The weather was so good, so the natural lighting did wonders for this shoot. Shot with film camera
This is one of my photoshoots that I shot in Wimbledon Common, and also is one of my most successful ones. I’m really happy with these photographs, the location is good and I feel like the styling goes well with the location. I didn’t want to do crazy styling as I was scared it would take the attention away from the background.
