Welcome.

SWEETSHOP is an artist run exhibition space in the bay windows of an old sweet shop in Lewes, East Sussex. Over the next year we have programmed a series of exhibitions by local, national and international artists.

The street outside is busy with local people and visitors, pedestrians, cyclists, and other traffic. People often spill out of  bars and restaurants on to the pavement opposite.

The window exhibitions are there for this shifting audience to view in a peripheral or in a more deliberate mode of attention.
