SEAHA at the British Science Festival

Featured

The SEAHA Mobile Heritage Lab (MHL) will be giving the public a chance to get up close and personal with some our PhD student projects as part of the British Science Festival, which is taking place in Brighton in September 2017.

The festival, which is hosted by Brighton and Sussex Universities, is a five day celebration of British Science, culminating on Saturday 9th September 2017 in a day of events taking  place in the city centre itself, and the MHL will be part of the programme on this final day.

The SEAHA MHL is an EPSRC-funded facility which allows our students to take their heritage science research out into schools, exhibitions and science fairs, demonstrating the essential link between our cultural heritage and science, and giving the students valuable experience of public engagement activities. If you would like to see some examples of how this works, visit the MHL Past Projects page on the main SEAHA website.

The SEAHA Conference 2017 comes to Brighton

The third international SEAHA conference is coming to Brighton on June 19-20 2017. The conference is organised by the SEAHA students themselves, led this year by Brighton student Keats Webb.
For full details see the SEAHA Conference 2017 website.

At the time of writing, there still time to submit an abstract (by March 17) or propose a workshop (by March 31). And the registration page for the conference is now open!
