About SEAHA

SEAHA is a funding programme for 60 4-year PhD studentships between 2014 and 2022, involving over 70 heritage and industrial partners and offering an exceptionally rich and well-supported PhD experience for our future Heritage scientists.

SEAHA (Science and Engineering in Arts Heritage and Archaeology) is a PhD research training programme delivering the next generation of research leaders in Heritage Science. It is a collaboration between UCL, Oxford and Brighton and supported by the EPSRC.

This blog site focuses on Brighton’s activities in the SEAHA programme, providing more details about what is going on locally, and what it is like to be involved in the programme at Brighton – as a student, supervisor or project partner.

For full details of the programme, and information about all activities, events and opportunities across all three partners, visit the main SEAHA website.

To find out more, explore our blog posts, discussion forums and wiki pages from the menu bar. Do get in touch if you have any questions or comments, and you can keep in touch, for example by using the email subscription form at the bottom of the page.

Note: We try to make as much information as possible public, so that anyone can see it, but there are some pages which are for more targetted audiences. For example, if you are a member of the University of Brighton, you can log into the site (using your usual university login details), and you will be able to see additional content. And some parts of the site are accessible only to specific users, or by giving a password. If there is part of the site you can’t see, but would like access to, do get in touch to discuss this with us.
