Here are some extracts from my journal, when planning the ‘life size’ portrait , I was a little apprehensive about the prospect of the drawing being life sized as I usually stick to smaller drawings, however I was exited to try something different. I looked at exploring ‘external and internal’ landscapes and plan out what I wanted to communicate about myself in my portrait. For example I wanted to communicate the fact that I am a twin and how that has had an impact on both my external and internal identity, I also wanted to illustrate some of my interests such as philophy and music.
