Project 8 Developing A Visual Language

Holiday starts!

Take a look at my works, I realize that I draw too many Chibi characters. I feel like drawing so many similar things is not going to teach me, I am wasting my time in a comfort zone. Another problem is, I really like the manga style, which leads all of my work to look similar. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing… Also, I notice that there are many things waiting for me to study, such as color theory, and body anatomy.

Instead of drawing something that makes me comfortable, I want to try something challenging.

At the beginning of the project, I will create a ‘comfortable’ drawing, see which part that can be changed or improved. After that, I will set a theme to focus on.
