The first part of the tour will show you five specialised lab spaces in Mithras House, designed to support research, teaching, and community engagement in Humanities and Social Sciences:
• Stats Lab: A space for quantitative research featuring VR and eye-tracking technology and facilities for film and podcast production.
• Community Lab: A flexible teaching and meeting room.
• City Lab: A qualitative research hub with spaces for exhibitions, meetings, and public engagement.
• Life Lab: A practice-based teaching and research space equipped for group interviews, social work training, and research with children.
• Design Lab: Home to the design teaching collection, with garments, mannequins, and seminar resources on display.
