The Research and Knowledge Exchange Week is taking place from 25–28 March 2024, just before the Easter weekend.

Watch our film where Professor Rusi Jaspal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Knowledge Exchange) welcomes you to the week ahead.

Our university-wide Research and Knowledge Exchange Week is packed with activities designed to support and develop our researchers and their activity and will, for the first time, incorporate the Festival of Postgraduate Research.

The events bring together research colleagues and students at all stages of their research and knowledge exchange career and from all disciplines and aim to:

  • encourage self-development through training and workshops
  • provide opportunities to make connections with others
  • showcase some of the research and knowledge exchange currently taking place within our community
  • develop an understanding of the current research and knowledge exchange climate.

Research and Knowledge Exchange Showcase (Wednesday 27 March at 3pm)

The Showcase is open to all University of Brighton staff and students at the Sallis Benney Theatre in Grand Parade. The event will feature short, lightning-speed presentations from talented colleagues and postgraduate researchers, the announcement of all competition winners and an opportunity for networking over refreshments.

While bookings have officially closed, researchers, postgraduate researchers and those who support them are welcome to notify us of late bookings, by emailing ResearcherDevelopment@brighton.ac.uk with the session title in the subject header.

Vote online for your favourite research photo and do come along to Grand Parade from 2pm on 27 March to vote for your favourite three-minute thesis and research poster in person.

We hope you have an enjoyable week.

If you need information about the week, it’s all here on the website. Have a look through the Timetable. Under All events, you’ll find descriptions for each workshop. In addition, you can search By date or By type.
