This workshop begins with insights from a Research Communications perspective to learn about techniques that can make your research accessible and appealing to wider audiences, including actionable tips to improve use of Pure, blogs and social media, an introduction to the ways the Press Office work and ideas for extending outreach.
You will then hear from academic presenters who have communicated their research to lay audiences in exciting and successful ways.
By the end of this workshop, you will have the knowledge required to convey your research in a way that captivates, educates and inspires a non-academic audience.
