I’ve decided to revive this blog as a space for thinking about some of the things I’m interested in – partly because of recent upheaval in Twitter and discussions about whether Mastodon will be a replacement and more general debates about where and how we use different social media platforms, including blogs.

This site isn’t a self-hosted “Domain of My Own” (see Jim Groom ยป Projects) but it’s an ad-free alternative to wordpress.com which I use for a few other things – most recently a guide to “Moving to Mastodon”,

The other sites I manage here on the blogs.brighton platform are both public facing and linked to my professional roles: Resources for staff | Personal Academic Tutoring (brighton.ac.uk) and Home | Visual Learning (brighton.ac.uk)
