Photographer Research: New Idea

Looking through websites such as Lensculture I have found various photographers collections such as, Michelle Rogers Pitzl’s Soma, Balarka Brahma’s Forward Pass, Lucia Pellufo’s We are one we are two, Gianluca Mihellei’s Igor, Robert Larson’s Nowhere girl, Markus Jenemark’s Haromkring, Paul Cupido’s Tokyo Blur and Valery Melinkov’s Underground. These are all extremely dark, bleak and somewhat eerie photo collections which have given me ideas and inspiration of what, how and who I could photograph in order to create the best photos and convey what I would like to.

Change of my idea

Due to missing my flight to Poland, I have to now go back to my other initial idea which was subverting ‘A Sense of Place’ and creating a portfolio of photos which show loneliness and not having a sense of place. I will do this by using the skills I have learned in Photography so far, such as using the settings on my camera to create dark and bleak photos. I will in the next few days, take a trip to places around Brighton such as The beach, the woods and possibly the town centre and start practicing my photos. I have already got photographer inspiration from my initial ideas research but I will continue to find more to help me get more inspiration.
