Welcome to the place based narratives: supporting the creative reuse of digital cultural assets to tell communities’ stories project website.

The project has been funded under the Brighton-Sussex Collaborative Research Fund. It runs from 1st April 2018 to 31st December 2019.

The project will investigates how local communities can meaningfully connect with local cultural heritage through creative digital experiences. A pilot study, in collaboration with the Hove Civic Society, invites communities to participate in the creation of digital experiences that interweave multiple individual narrative interpretations of local cultural assets as part of the Hove Plinth project.

The project is run in partnership between the University of Brighton, Sussex University, Hove Civic Society and Mnemoscene.
