Styling workshop- 14/11/16
Styling Workshop
On Monday 14/11/16 we had a styling workshop with Burberry stylist Stephanie Johns. For preparation for the workshop we were asked to choose two references from a list given to us, in order to do some research and design and plan a style by combining the two references. I decided to choose Phoebe Philo for Celine (Pre Fall 2015 collection) and Jean-Luc Godard’s ‘A Bout de Souffle’.
I firstly done a lot of research into the two references using Celine for predominantly the style and A Bout de Souffle for location shooting, lighting looking at the French New Wave, I did look thoroughly into the clothing as well.
I took from the Celine that the clothes were simple, bold and didn’t hold much pattern but they stood out still. From high neck shirts and cigarette trousers creating an formal causal look. Looking at Godard’s A Bout de Souffle, I took the rustic filmography they used and natural lighting which created a unique look.

Photoshoot Editorial:
I made an editorial for this styling photoshoot where I edited and included the best images. I was happy with the outcome and kept it simple- keeping the colours neutral mainly with the Celine style in mind.
