Experimenting on Photoshop
I decided to take some of the pictures me and my group had taken this past week, of both sheer tights along with the denim and white shirt and experiment with the ‘pattern stamp’ tool. I got images I had taken and made them into a new pattern to layer over an outline of tights.

Here I inserted a photograph we took at the denim workshop, where we styled her in sheer tights as well. I searched textures on Pinterest and chose a ripped piece of denim to layer over the image.I turned down the opacity to mix the two together.

With this image, I got an image of someones leg wearing sheer tights and filled the inner part with an image we took in our denim workshop. Mixing both denim and sheer tights together.
IMG 3:
I used the ‘quick selection’ and ‘magic wand’ tools to remove the existing background from our image and again use the ‘pattern clamp’ to replace it with an image of denim texture from Pinterest.
IMG 4:
I did the same process as I did with IMG 3, however I decided to choose a extreme close up of denim weave to explore the textile/ fabric.
IMG 5:
Again I used the same pattern stamp tool, however I used IMG 1 to fill the outline.
IMG 6:
I used an image of sheer tights and made it into a new patter. Then by using the ‘magic eraser’ tool I tried to rough sketch to look like a pair of tights.

I liked this one, as I felt it looked like a collage. I purposely made the cut out of our model rough to make it appear like a cut out from a magazine. I used the same texture that I got from Pinterest in IMG 1.
Overall, I felt that by experimenting with tools on Photoshop and manipulating my images, helped me create new pieces of work from the same images, all exploring and enabling my creative study skills.
