What have I done this week (3/10/16-7/10/16)

At the start of this week we were given an object brief and put into small groups, my groups object were ‘sheer tights’. Within these groups we were told to gather images from both primary and secondary research and begin our sketchbooks where we would document our research and project. Throughout the week I have started my sketchbook, inside I have included the history of sheer tights and how they have been developed into modern fashion. As a group we also went out into Brighton town to capture people in public who were wearing sheer tights, we also went into a vintage store to find old images and ornaments in relevance to our object. I went on to sketch our images and experiment with our object, by cutting and tearing sheer tights. Next week I plan to use a manual camera and shoot our object professionally, visit exhibitions and document my research and work more on my sketchbook.
