On this page, you will find instructions on how to add and edit your own blog posts
Step 1: Apply for Authorship
Please complete this form to apply for authorship. Your application will then be processed and you will receive a confirmation email once access is approved.
If you are not a University of Brighton staff or student, you will be emailed specific login details for the site. You will be required at this point to choose a password for your blogging account.
Step 2: Login to the site
First, visit the PBL CLG site and click Login (top left corner of your screen).
Login with:
- UoB staff and students use their usual university username and password
- External members please use the username we provide you (in the confirmation email) and the password you chose on setting up.
Step 3: Create a blog post
1) Once logged in to the site, you can click the +New button at the top of your screen
2) You will be taken to the Add a New Post screen.
3) Give the post a title
4) In the large text box, please type your blog post. Additional guidance is available on:
Step 4: Save, Preview and Publish your post
On the right side of the Add a New Post screen, you’ll see the publish menu
- Save Draft – click this regularly to save your work. Your post will not be made public at this point – only other authors and site admins will be able to see your draft
- Preview – see a preview of what your page will look like (opens in a new tab)
- Publish – Click this to publish your blog post. The post will be made public, and subscribers of the site will receive an email notification about the new post
