Peter Callesen is a Danish artist and author. He uses precise had cut paper and relief to create three dimensional structures.
The elaborate paper sculptures often contrast or relate to the relief image. This image the natural and the man made. Callesen often deals with death in his work. Often showing forms of skeletal figures next to silhouettes of their previously living figure captured in negative space.
