Palomo Spain has no gender focus just like the new collection and sub-brand Palomo Sanuraio, the sub brand stays with Palomo Spain ethics, views and brand image. Palomo Sanuraio clothing can be worn by ALL. This sub-brand makes key clothing items to make YOU feel confident, mature, seductive, charming, smart, lavish and most importantly comfortable. Palomo Spain and the new sub brand Palomo Sanuraio manufactures high quality clothing that will all include a stand out elements.
This collection is designed for the young individuals who express their personality through fashion. It’s for the generation who overlook gender normalities and those who express identity through clothing and accessories. This brand encourages experimentation, to make people wear the clothes how they want to wear it not how they think it should be worn. A Palomo Sanuraio sub brand is a brand that aims to make people man clothing is personal and expressive.
Palomo Sanuraio is a new ready to wear sub-brand, which ranges from casual, smart tops, tailored suits to cozy jumpers. Created with the male silhouette in mind, but the range consists of clothing suited to all, easily available to anyone that wants that extra bit of charm to their day-to-day life and wardrobe. Encouraging the use of mixing and matching key outfits pieces to decrease the need for fast fashion in retail. Palomo Sanuraio is proud to create a current, modern and exciting fashion brand that is easily accessible which will be marketed at a lower retail price point so it’s reachable for everyone.
Palomo Sanuraio will work closely with Palomo Spain. We are aiming to increase interest in both brands by building on customer loyalty and brand recognition. Campaigns though social media like Twitter and Instagram will be held when the run up for the website and online store launch begins. We plan for the sub brand to have its own social medias; but to increase its popularity it will be linked on Palomo Spain’s main pages. An individual blog will be launched and updated with clothing, new seasons, promotions and celebrity endorsements. This will attract a high footfall from the target market, hoping to encourage sales. The use of hashtags to link all social media sights together will be used, this factor will bring in new customer interest to the sub brand and leading brand.
We are a brand that believes in being courageous, creative and characterful these factors being blended to create a wearable but indulgent collection. An effortless collection that has elegance and beauty, which has an easy transition from day to night with every piece. It’s a collection to make YOU smile.

Layout research.
After going picking my final pictures and what order i wanted to display them in. I went onto Pinterest to look at different examples of Lookbooks in detail. Getting ideas for layout, picture placement and size, cropping, text, graphics, lengths, white space, clothing information. By looking at these examples its helped me develop a more detailed flat plan.
Lookbook Layout Ideas
I decided to print of a few of my final pictures that i plan on using in the the look book. I simple stuck them to my wall so i could easily move them around and see what order i liked the pictures in and what would look good on since spreads or double spreads. Laying them out this way worked well for me as it was hard to visualise all the pictures together when moving and adjusting on indesign. Having them like this as well meant to could see the pictures larger meaning i could see what areas needed to be edited and to see where east picture should be cropped.

This being the same order as the previous layout but i decided to take away a picture as it didn’t fit with my layout or aesthetic of the lookbook
The layout being ordered by the type of angle the picture is got example, the head shots being together, chest angels being together.
I know feel more confident to put together a flat plan to put my photographs in the order that i think fits best.

Sub Brand – Name and Fon
The brand I’m looking at is Palomo spain and i decided i wanted to keep the Palomo at the beginign of my sub brand as it connects the two together and keeps the designer as a focus point, it also works well as his name will have brand loyalty customer and it makes it easier to trust a new brand if it connects the a already existing one. It would also bring in customer from the start.
I decided on the final name of , Santuario is a town within Cordoba that in Spain which is the area Alejandro Gomez Palomo is from.
I went through different fonts to see what worked best with the brand, my sub brand and the aesthetic of the brand i wanted to portray. I looked at sleek designed, bold, simple and Spanish type font to see what worked best.
I want a simple but smart logo, to go along with the brand aesthetic, i wanted to to be easy to read but then didn’t want something to bland. It has look good on the look book but also thinking about it blown up on marketing campaigns and within stores.
After Looking at fonts and logo ideas i wants a symbol to go along with it just like Pretty Green or Lacoste for example. This being my final name and logo for my sub brand.

Macro trend boards
I decided to experiment with ideas and layout for trend boards to get a better understanding of how to create a colour scheme and how to portray a fashion trend idea without having a trend board dull of just fashion items.
After researching on WGSN i saw that metallic and iridescent fabrics are a big leading idea for future trends. So i went and attempted a few of my own collecting different pictures, looking at lectures, colours, lighting and seeing how it would all work within a fashion trend.
WGSN has so many different ideas and i led me into thinking of a few of my initial ideas that i will be expanding on and researching in a greater depth. Trends link with political issues so i looked into doing a trend connected with gender and multi gender is making its way into fashion and the new generation. Wanting to create a power focused trend to fit all genders and to build a unity.
A few of my first ideas for gender related trends. All different focus of colour and aesthetic to see what direction i wanted to go in.
I then went into looking at silhouettes and taking inspiration from current trend of 2017 of the corset making a re-appearance along with the over use of lace, i went straight to the idea of something i adore personal and that is ballet outfits. Looking at the more extreme corset but keeping such elegance and feminine feel that i think will expand and develop through the next few years with the empowerment of females.
