While i was reflecting and looking back at my press packs and research,  i realised i didn’t document all elements of information as i follow k-pop and i know of a lot of information without having to research as its something i come across on a daily. Therefor i thought i would go back through and explain bits i had forgotten to add into my sketchbooks.

Modeling

I follow a lot Korean magazine companies on instagram as Korean fashion as i have followed Seoul fashion week for years. There for i found out about most of the modeling jobs and brand deals TEN has been apart of through following the magazines though social media.  The magazine shoots or when he attends the show’s is due to his spot light in the Idol groups. Idols are used in most adverts within South Korea from fashion to beauty, this is something i found out through my dissertation research and my trip out their in 2019.

The page all about the tours TEN has been apart of i missed how adding any sort of research into sketchbooks as i am a fan of all his groups and follow them closely there for knew where he had toured with each group and where to find the posters.

Price range

The price range i based of the prices that Kpop albums are sold at in each area. To find this out i asked those i have made contacts/friends with in US and Korea through being apart fo the K-pop community.

Press schedule

For the press schedule i just went and wrote what i know that idols are expected to partake in through their promotional week. As a fan i know the most popular shows that idols appear on so i listed the ones that are used by all kind of idols, those that fan love and adore and get the most attention. I also make sure to include those TEN as appeared on previously. I wanted to make the schedule as realistic as possible and add in the international shows that have worked with idols before so are aware of the concept and are able to work with the language barrier (even though Ten is fluent in english he can struggled and get lost so its important to have patient hosts) .  Ill add in some screen shots and links to the ones TEN has been on and then the shows he hasn’t been on are listed as idols have appeared on them in the past.

The late late show with James Corden – This show has hosted NCT 127, BTS and Black Pink.

The late show with Jimmy Fallon – This show has hosted BTS through the years.

Zack Sang show – Youtube interviewer – He has hosted many Kpop idols from JAckson wang, blackpink, nct 127 and BTS.

Weekly idol – has hosted pretty much every idol group/artsit as most pass through for every promotion they are apart. Ten has been on this apart of nct.

After school club – has hosted my k-pop idols, its a show dedicated to bringing Kpop to the international fans. Has hosted most groups, from Got7, Stray Kids to BTS.

Buzz feed – Youtube channel, they are known for doing small interviews and games with artists. Hosted many, TXT, BTS, SEventeen and nct.

Music bank – is a korean music show (chart show)

. It is like Top of the pops, they have the idols perform each week (if they are promoting a new song) and then fans vote for their winner. They have every idol perform on the show.

Lorraine – English TV show. Has hosted BTS in the past.

Distribution

For the page about distribution i researched into where K-pop albums are sold worldwide. I wanted to make sure i had stores that were found in UK,USA and Asia.  As i am a fan i know that the albums are sold within HMV and supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco as this is were i have personally brought albums in the past from K-pop artists. And then more America i know that they sell k-pop albums within Target and supermarkets due to social media posts. Lotte world is huge franchise within Korea as well as Coex mall, i had been and visited both on my trip to Korea and found them both selling Kpop Merch and albums. Coex mall is based underneath/next to the SM entertainment building there for TENS album selling in their is a must as its his entertainment company.
